To fund your account with Fiat or Australian Dollars or Non-Cryptocurrency, or to make a purchase or sale of Bitcoin on our Site, you will need to provide sufficient documents to verify your identity. This can be, but is not limited to, Passport, Drivers License, Utility Bill, Citizenship certificate. We make use of an authorised provider of the DVS system in Australia to verify Australian IDs for legitimacy.

As a part of this ID verification and in order to deliver our Services to you, you will be asked to add data to your account, such as your name, address, DOB and phone number.

You will also provide your banking details so that you can initialise AUD withdrawals from your account with us.

We are legally obligated by our Australian financial regulators to collect this information before providing you with these services.

Declining to provide this information will result in you being unable to make Fiat, Australian Dollar or Non-Cryptocurrency deposits, or make Bitcoin purchases or sales, with HardBlock.


2.2. What We Do With This Information

We do not and will not sell or transfer your personally identifying information to third parties without your consent. However as a condition of using this service you agree that we may:

  • - Verify the integrity of your documents and your identity by the use of government agencies and third party document checking service providers,
  • - In the event of suspected fraud, or when required by Australian law, we will provide your identity information to banking institutions, Australian regulatory or law enforcement agencies,
  • - Your email address will be disclosed to our email service provider(s) for the purpose of us communicating with you.

3.1. What We Collect
