Phone Confirmation for Logins from New Devices

We are releasing a new feature to increase the security of Hardblock accounts that have not enabled 2-Factor Authentication.

What this means is that whenever you login to your Hardblock account from a new device for the first time (or you've just cleared your browser cookies), we'll send you a text message containing a verification code that you'll need to enter into the platform before you can access your account.

This is to prevent unauthorised users from accessing your account, even if you don't have 2-Factor Authentication enabled.

If you have 2-Factor Authentication enabled, then you will not see this phone confirmation code. Instead, you continue to use your 2FA codes to log in.

Please ensure your mobile phone number in your account is up to date so that you can successfully receive these codes. Alternatively, set up 2FA if you'd prefer that as your second layer of account security.
